A bad take on the subject for the most part. There are some stand out moments, but all in all, every episode is defeated by some weakness. Episode 1 has pacing issues, episode 2 is let down by its third act, episode 3 is the best out of all of them but the hard-boiled novel format will appeal to a narrow audience (thankfully I'm part of that audience and really enjoyed that episode) episode 4 is marred by terribly bad acting, especially on the part of the main protagonist, even though the concept was really good, and episode 5 is just. you're better off skipping that one. I understand there is limitation to producing a sci-fi series with episodes lasting only 10 minutes, but I'd be more ok with bad CGI, than bad writing, directing and acting. Just watch episode 3 if you're into hard-boiled fiction, and episode 1 if you're ok with bad pacing, but skip the rest. They are not worth it.
